...I drove around the not so sweetest part of it today, across the bridge into Hackensack, down through Kearney, by Newark, into Elizabeth then on to Bayonne.

One year ago today was my first every blog post...how exciting.

Since then I have: become engaged, got a new job, gained a lot of weight...2 outta 3 ain't bad.

We came across a hawk eating a pigeon it had killed. It was in a playground near our house. There was a crowd below watching the feast. When the hawk was done eating, it let the gruesomely disfigured pigeon carcass drop to the ground below, and the crowd of kids who had been watching let out a long "ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" in perfect unison.

andrea got a mac today, so we fucked around with the camera on it...
